We will complete our Camino with a trip out to Finnisterre for one night. Anyone have a lovely, culturally rich, unique spot to savor this community? Hotel? AirbNB? What must we do there?
Well, you can sleep in the lighthouse! O Semaforo is the name of the hotel. It's not the cheapest place, but not that bad given the exceptional location.
I was lucky to sleep there in 2007; the experience was incredible.
The Finisterre extension to the Camino was less popular back then, so it was not crowded. I came back to the area in 2022 and it was quite crowded, but once in the hotel, it should still be good.
I will be in Finisterre this week, as we will stay three nights at the Parador in Muxia.
If you want specific information, do let me know and I will try to check it out for you....
Thanks for some ideas. I'll msg some questions.
I've also stayed in the parador in Muxia and would also recommend it. By the way Muxia is also a kilometer zero for the camino, as is Finisterre.
