Planning to go in October. Would anyone guess how much time I should figure to see the theatre?

We were there about 2 1/2 hours, and didn’t rush through.

I don't remember exactly, but I was probably there a bit longer than 2-1/2 hours--and I'm not a fan of Surrealism. However, for part of the time I was dodging clusters of folks from a bus tour, which slowed me down a bit. I went upstairs to avoid them and then returned to the main floor.
The jewelry collection covered by the same ticket is worth seeing. It's not under the same roof but is nearby. You can see it before or after the Theatre-Museum. I may have spent 30 minutes seeing the jewelry collection, but I was trying to take photos. (That didn't work.)

I agree about the jewelry part, worthwhile, although that was maybe 15 or 20 minutes, at the end. We had some driving to do, and needed to exit there by about 1:00 P.M. and get some lunch, too. So we didn’t linger over every piece in the museum, but didn’t rush through, either.
