Is car rental available at the Figueres-Vilafant station or only the Figueres Central train station? Thank you.

yes, you can rent a car at the Figueres-Vilafant station. We recommend Auto Europe - www.autoeurope.com. They are a consolidator, so you will actually be renting through Avis, Budget, Hertz or another agency, but they generally have good pricing.

A quick check shows Avis serves that train station as well as a local rental company. Avis’ hours are 8:30am-1:45pm and 4:00pm-5:45pm, Monday-Friday. It is closed on Sunday and has shortened hours on Saturday; 9:30-11:45am.
I’d hate to have to plan my rental around those hours, especially if it’s a slow day and it closes a little early or opens a little late.
