Feedback on roadtrip itinerary to Cordoba, Ronda, Arcos and Seville?

Hello,

We are doing a 8 day road trip to South of Spain. We have been to Seville and Granada before and have seen the most popular tourist destinations. I would like to get suggestion

Cordoba: 2 nights, 1.5 days
Ronda: 2 nights. 1.5 days (is this too much for Ronda?)
Arcos De La Frontera: 1 night, 1 day
Seville: 4 nights, 3 days (will do road trips to Cadiz and Jerez)
Madrid: 1 night, 1 day

Would appreciate some feedback on this itinerary

There's more to see in Cordoba than in Ronda, but I imagine you an keep yourselves reasonably busy in Ronda for 1-1/2 days. I did, but some of the sights weren't very memorable.

Arcos may not require a full day. I'm usually a really slow traveler, but I day tripped to Arcos by busmand didn't think I needed more time.

I'd try to consolidate the Ronda/Arcos time in some way so you can have a couple of nights in Cadiz or Jerez. It's a shame to make two day trips to that same area from Seville, and Arcos is so close to Jerez that you'll probably pass right by Jerez on your way from Arcos to Seville. As it stands, you're going to be driving the stretch of highway between Jerez and Seville five times. Arcos could be a day trip from Jerez if you want to eliminate one of your one-night stops; ViaMichelin gives a driving time of just 31 minutes each way.

I thought Ronda was beautiful. We had an Airbnb overlooking the gorge. But a day or 2 is enough. Walk down into the gorge on the upstream side. There is a nice path and great views along it. You can loop down from one side of the main bridge and come up on the other.

There is also a path on the downstream side which is nice. Long trek though to the bottom. You can do half to get a great views of the amazing bridge.
I would suggest staying longer in Seville and making a day trip to Cordoba. There is a 45 minute train there all day. Get a tour guide for the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba. Well worth it to understand what you're looking at.

What are your plans? To respond to a road trip plan, I like to know how you are going to use the car. The main appeal of Ronda to me is the hiking in its vicinity. You can certainly enjoy the highlights of the town in a day.
