We'll be in Barcelona for the Feb 24 or 25th match. We haven't been to a football (soccer) match. I'm hearing best seats are either lateral (on the side) or side goal? Agree/disagree?? Any advice appreciated!!

I haven't been to Camp Nou (LUCKY!!) but in general, the better the seats, the higher the price. Generally the best views are from any seat midfield on the sides where you can see the entire pitch left to right (like the view you see on TV). If you've never been to a match then it probably won't matter where you sit, just absorb the atmosphere and watch the magic. BTW it looks like there's only a match on Feb. 25 and there's a half off code for tickets (TIGRINHO, for their new signing). Have a great time.

Thank you so much for this! I'm sure you're right - we'll just get seats on the side in the "lateral" section. This season they're playing in the olympic stadium while Camp Nou is being refurbished.
It's so different than buying tickets in the states. Right now I can just pick a section for 4 of us. They say the seats will "probably" be together but you don't find out your actual seat until 24-48 hours ahead of time. It's also possible the match will be on the 24th. I'm sure it'll be great regardless!

Will you report back? We’re going to be there is April when there is the possibility of seeing a match. Are you considering the basic seats or the ones that include the extra stuff?
