Family friendly Spanish immersion programs

A friend and I are hoping to take our 3 teenage daughters to Spain for a Spanish immersion experience summer 2025. We are looking for a language immersion experience that would be geared to the whole family vs. just the teens. Any information on reputable schools would be much appreciated.

Well, I am ALWAYS a proponent of world language learning, and so I took a quick look at the Internet and found Centro Mundolengua in Sevilla as a possibility, and Cervantes School in Malaga. However, I cannot personally attest to the quality of the instruction, or the reasonableness of the cost.

Many of the other programs in the country are geared towards college students, business professionals, or (short) high school student experiences.

As a person who has formally studied in a Spanish university, I can certainly say it is a wonderful learning opportunity! But I was a very serious student, with a full roster of classes, homework assignments, and research papers to write (por supuesto, en español), so I did not participate with the mindset that this was a fun vacation getaway.

Dealing with younger children means that school experiences could become frustrating, and so integrating the work with pleasurable activities is highly recommended. Of course, it is quite easy to already begin Spanish language learning at home with the many online programs now available. Immersion only truly works if you and the children all agree NOT to speak English.

Buena suerte!

I know your request is for Spain, and nothing wrong with that, but if you want good Spanish instruction for your family for much less money, in a very pretty town, consider Antigua, Guatemala.
