Fall visit to Spain, not sure of best location, been several times to cities

I'm looking for a combination of relaxing, maybe beach and visiting some sites. I was thinking about Costa Blanca.

I have been to Barcelona, Malaga, Seville and Madrid. Is Majorca still viable, or is it a party place, plus hating Americans?
I will be traveling with several seniors and young adults. it hard to please all.
thank you for any insights.

Some additional information, trip would be late September/October, about 8 people. Probably about an 8-10 day stay. Would prefer not to have to rent a car, a walkable place would be ideal. Alicante?

Majorca is not a party place, especially in September. There are some cities that cater to that crowd, but even those would be quiet in September.

And I've never heard of any hate toward Americans there, or anywhere else in Spain. I think you are referring to there protests against apartment rentals, but even there, nothing directed towards Americans.

If you want to go to really great beaches, go to Andalucia:

You could fly to Jerez, to give one example, and after a couple of days there, rent a car and go to a beach.

Other option is Madrid-Cuenca-Valencia and then rent a car and stay in a beach town, like Denia.
Or stay in Valencia and you have the combination of a great city that has a decent beach.

Time of year, length of the trip, the number of people, does the group mind changing locations, and whether a rental car is an option might elicit more responses.

There are many places one can visit in Spain that are not cities and that are very relaxing.
