We are traveling from the US to Dublin and connecting to Malaga Spain. On our way back we spend one night in Dublin. Other than passports, what travel documents do we need? Thank you!

Dublin part of UK ? In the past, you could be killed for thinking such a thing 😅. The Republic of Ireland, with Dublin as its capital, is an independent state.

Nothing for Spain.
Sorry, I should have stated you’d need an ETA if your connection was in the UK. I assumed Dublin was only on the return and the connection to Malaga going over was via Heathrow (and you couldn’t stay airside) or Gatwick.
