El Prado to reopen this weekend with an exhibition of its 'Greatest Hits'

The world famous art museum will be opening its doors back up to the public again this Saturday (6.6), with a showcase of 250 of its greatest artworks. Tickets will be half prices until September 13th, when El Prado is expected to reopen all its exhibit spaces fully.

Until then, the museum will operate on reduced capacity of 1,800 people per day, with only 16 rooms open to the public. All tickets must be obtained at least one day prior to your visit. There will be temperature checks at the entrance and all visitors will be required to wear a face mask. The 250 pieces of the Greatest Hits exhibition will follow a one-way route through the main building, these will be the only artworks on display until September.
