I will be in Madrid Saturday afternoon April 8 til' Saturday morning April 15.
I haven't been able to find any information on closures of restaurants, museums, shops (not malls), sites, etc. for that week. I see that Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are public holidays - but cannot find how that or other days that week affects sites/restaurants/cafes.
On Palm Sunday I plan to go to the El Rastro Market and maybe do Rick's two walks - Puerta del Sol to Royal Palace Loop and the Gran Via walk. I did read that day trip tickets need to be booked ahead so will do that for Segovia for Monday April 10 and I found a website that describes the various processions and when they will be held.
A guide to closures of main sites, restaurants, shops, for Tuesday - Friday will be most appreciated.
