Easter school break in Spain

Easter falls on April 1, 2018. Does anyone know, based on past years, whether school groups are likely to be touring around that weekend, or whether they take a separate spring break? If the break is around Easter itself, does anyone know whether they usually do school trips before Easter or afterwards? Thanks.

The school calendar here in La Rioja is always Good Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Week.
The date of Easter doesn't matter.

... Spain is not a uniform country, there are 17 autonomous communities and some of them run their own affairs in education matters, thus, the school calendar can be different in each one. So you should perhaps say where exactly are you referring to.

... if you're referring to say Barcelona or any other part of Catalonia for that matter, my homeland, I should also point out that while our children might be having spring breaks home or elsewhere abroad, lots of foreign kids/schools -especially French, German, Italian and English- come here for theirs as travelling within Europe is easy and inexpensive(ish).

Thus, if your question intended to find out when you'd more likely be "free of kids", I'm afraid you won't, at least here in Catalonia :))
