early morning taxi at Seville, and rental car insurance question

We will take a train from Seville at 8:30 am. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk to the train station. We plan to take a taxi, but are wondering if there will be taxi at around 7:45 am on the street. If we book a taxi, will anyone take our business? since it is so close to the train station.
Another question is about rental car insurance. How much is it usually to buy at the counter for good coverage? We booked one car on bookings.com which added insurance for $12/day (very cheap!), and a car on Expedia.com says comes with basic coverage, but we think we may need to buy extra or better coverage at the counter.

All rental cars come with liability insurance included. You will need to get CDW via your credit card, a third party provider, or through the rental company.

With basic CDW the deductible will probably be between 1,000-2000€. Better CDW coverage with lower or no deductible will cost more (varies by company). Unless you get the basic CDW through the rental company you won’t be able to get the better coverage through it. What you get will depend on your comfort level.

The roads in Spain are in good condition and I feel very well marked. Drive at or below the speed limit since there are plenty of speed cameras.

7:45am is not too early for a taxi. You could ask the hotel to call one for you instead of searching for one on the street.

I’d ask the hotel I which thye think is best- for them to book your taxi the night before, or for them to call it in for you as your check out.
