Driving VS. Train from Barcelona/Cordoba/Granada

I can't decide which would make more sense; here's my itinerary:
Leaving Barcelona end of September after 3 nights headed to Granada for 2 nights then Seville for 4 nights.

Do I:
1) Fly from Barcelona to Granada directly, and train to Seville. Day trip by train to Cordoba form Seville?
2) Train to Cordoba, spend the day there and train/bus to Granada and Seville
3) Train to Cordoba, rent a car and drive to Granada and drive to Seville.

If I fly to Granada I can fly out later and stay in Barcelona that day longer or leave earlier and have more time in Granada.
Is it worth having the car for the driving within those cities? I love to drive but storing the car in those cities might be a drag.
Any quick advice would really be appreciated. Thanks!

I suggest to fly to Granada then train or bus to Seville. Parking is expensive and a nightmare to maneuver around all the no car zones.

David forgot the most important part:

NO
Driving in Granada, Cordoba, or Barcelona. It's not that it "might" be a drag - you will be bitterly angry at having to deal with a car in the narrow lanes that form the old cities, and you merely have to pay a lot to keep it parked while you're seeing each city. If you're going to other places, a car can be useful, but not in these cities.

Your trip is almost exactly what we are doing in December. I did find that flying into Malaga was slightly cheaper and the hours worked better for us. let us know how it goes!
