I've found Google to be pretty much spot on when driving in Andalucia, particularly when driving the main roads such as the AP7. I've rarely encountered much congestion when driving there and once that road clears after Malaga towards Nerja it's usually a great drive, excellent road conditions, relatively quiet and easy to get a speeding ticket!
