We do not plan to stay on the Costa Del Sol during our trip in February, but we would still like to see it, and stop along the way for lunch (perhaps in Malaga or Nerja). On that day, we will be going from Ronda to either Marbella or Malaga, and driving along the coast until we turn inward toward Granada. (We hope to take the coastal road, not the highway).
My question is: would it be better to drive from Ronda to Marbella, or from Ronda to Malaga? Of course, if we opt to start our coastal drive from Malaga, we will see less of the coast (but will we miss anything we would regret?)
