Does anyone know of hotels in Barcelona that have parking? We are on a month-long driving trip and don't want to deal with the traffic, but would like to be fairly close to all of the city's attractions and easy metro trip.

ufff!... driving in the city, like in many other European cities, can be nerve-racking and to find parking space a whole adventure on its own. And bloody expensive too, in the range of 2.50 to 3€ per hour noting parking in the street (any street!) is also metered.
Hotels don't have parking space due to constraints in real estate in the city. If anything, some might have agreements with nearby underground parking lots so as to have special prices for customers, but that doesn't guarantee availability, of course.
So... your best bet is to find an underground parking from B:SM, a public company run by the City Hall, or alternatively from SABA, one of the major private operators and leave your car there for the duration of your visit. B:SM is normally the cheapest alternative. Both companies offer "Parking Cards" which are substantially cheaper than the above mentioned.

From where will you be coming ?
A well connected 'suburban' location on your approach to the centre would be your best bet.
