Has anyone rented a car and done this drive? We are renting a car to save on time and are wondering what route would be best. Any sites to see? Picking up our college kid studying abroad in Grenada and then visiting our old exchange student in Valencia!

Don´t take me wrong, but you would not probably like Spaniards spelling Now Yerk, Pensalvania or Charlestan. I´m from Bilbao and it´s extremely frequent to read it spelled Bilboa.
I would take the longest route and stop in the very much off-the-beaten-path Jaén (beautiful castle and city), and historical Baena and Úbeda, two jewel towns that are quite off the radar for foreign visitors.
