Double barrel surname on passport

Help!!!!
I am trying to book an air ticket from Alicante to Ibiza and Ryanair is asking me to give a second surname. (This doesn't happen when I book a flight from the UK). I technically have two surnames which are shown on my passport as Bonelle-Gadd (hyphenated) and always appear in the one box on the form designated for surname. Never had a problem before.
So - shall I just stick with the hyphenated version in one box or split them into two boxes? The problem is that then they do not match my passport which could be a real problem. Tried contacting Ryanair and yes - you've guessed it, no response.
Anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks

Are you using Ryanair's Spanish website? Spanish people have two last (family) names. Is there a UK site you can use?

My passport has my hyphenated last name. I haven’t used the hyphen for many, many years. I put down my first and two last names without the hyphen for any flight or hotel reservations and never have had an issue. I made reservations this past week and there was a space for a second last name. I used both surname spaces separating my last name. I have done this before with no issues over many years of frequent travel.

I have tried using the UK website but once I go from a Spanish airport it changes the format of the passenger details log in.
Also - my booking reference page has to match with my passport so if I do split the names I will not comply with the rules.
So frustrating!!!
Thank you to the people who relied.
