Donana National and Natural Park Cycling or hiking?

I'm finding very little information on alternatives to a guided tour in the Donana National Park and hope this group can contribute information.

From my understanding the Park is divided into the National portion which you must have a guide (4x4, boat, or bus) take you through the park for anywhere from 3 hours to a full day. The other portion of the park is the Donana Natural Park and I believe there are some opportunities to hike/walk & cycle.

Sitting for hours in a bumpy vehicle doesn't appeal to us as we are active people and would prefer to cycle or hike. Can this be done outside the restricted National Park (guided area) where we could explore the Natural Park? I presume there is just as much beauty and opportunities to see birds/wildlife etc. and I would love any thoughts or shared experiences. Thanks, in advance.

Walking or cycling in Doñana sounds great! One suggestion is to look at the thousands of walking and cycling tracks in the area that have been posted on wikiloc.com. From the home page, click on 'explore' and then "trails in Spain". Zoom in until you see Doñana. Use the filters to find the type of track that interests you. I've also sent you a private message with more information. Good luck with your planning.

Thank you for the tips! I can't seem to locate the DM you mentioned but would truly appreciate any information you can share.
