I will be taking the RS Best of Spain tour in September 2022.
Will arrive a few days prior to the RS tour and would like to be part of a tour group visiting the Dali Museum. I don’t want to be rushed through the museum. I have been on tour groups where too much time is spent picking up people at hotels and then dropping them off.
Any recommendations on a 1 day tour group of the Dali Museum would be appreciated.
I will be staying near the Liceu Opera House. Thank you.

Why do you want to be part of a tour group? It sounds like you don’t like them. It is easy to take an AVE train from Barcelona to Figueres. Then you can tour the museum at your own pace and return to Barcelona when you’d like.

Yeah, I don't think a tour will be a good solution for you unless you can find one being conducted by an art museum, or perhaps a company like Context Travel. While I was visiting the Theatre-Museum in 2019, a French-speaking tour group arrived. I have no idea what sort of group it was, but it must have been a bus tour rather than a small-group tour. Although the group arrived quite a bit later than I did, it departed sooner. I'd guess it spent roughly half as much time as I did in the museum--and I am not a fan of surrealism.
