I expect to have about two hours in that area on a Sunday night at about 7p. Does anyone have any dinner recommendations? I can see there are several restaurants but I don't know what's touristy or over-priced.
Thanks!!

Hi, believe it or not, but 7:00 pm is very early for eating dinner in Spain, we usually start dinner at around 9-10 pm at the earliest. Thus many of the places one finds with open kitchens at 7 are the touristy and over priced ones, which I assume you would like to avoid.
One way to circumnavigate this cultural aspect is by eating at tapas bars. It's not a traditional full on dinner, but can be quite fun and filling, going from bar to bar and trying different small tapas. Most tapas bars should be open at 7:00 pm.
Close to where you will be is one of my favorite tapas bars, Bar Celta Pulperia. It's a Galician style seafood tapas bar that specializes in Galician Octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega). Another specialty is their Pimientos de Padron, which are apparently one of Rick Steves' favorite tapas (mine too!). They are sauteed green peppers that are usually mild, but every so often you get a spicy pepper. Bar Celta is a little more old school than the newer tapas bars, but it is still pretty popular with locals.
Excellent! Thank you so much! We have plans at 9p so we figured we’d grab food earlier. Tapas is perfect.
As far as I can tell, the Bar Celta location near el Arco de Triunfo (el Born) is open on Sunday nights from 11:30 am until midnight: https://www.facebook.com/pg/BarCeltaPulperia/about/?ref=page_internal
Bill, you may be thinking about their Barrio Gotico location?
