Myself and a friend will be in Barcelona for 4 days and wanted to venture out on a day trip or two from there. Any recommendations?

Although I'd have a hard time dragging myself away from Barcelona if I had only four days there, I loved Girona with its large medieval district, two historic cathedrals, a nice small art museum and a walkable wall.
If you're Dali fans, the Dali Theatre and Museum in Figueres is recommended.
If the weather cooperates (no sure when you're traveling), Montserrat is another possibility.

We are traveling the end of October, in a few weeks. I just wanted to hear people's experiences, we may just stay in Barcelona, what are your highlights there?
