Day trip to Sentinil de las Bodegas

Hi there everyone ,
Can anyone tell me if there is a local bus from Ronda to sentinil de las Bodegas . I am taking the train to Ronda from Malaga and was hoping there was a bus from Ronda which would also return in the same day ,and then I could take the train back to Malaga . This will be in February and I know services can be cut back in winter .
Many thanks in advance :)

A friend of mine was just there, but had a rental car. I did a quick lookup on the www.rome2rio.com site and there’s a bus ($7) that goes there 5 times a week and isn’t a direct route. If you caught the bus it’s an hour ride. If you drive or take a taxi ($18-22) it’s 22 minutes. If you’re intent on going there, it may be easier to just pay the taxi fare and save the time.

I had seen photos of Setenil before our September trip and was determined to see the town. However, I have to say I was a little disappointed. I think the photos look better than the actual town, and I'm not sure I would make a huge effort to visit.

Definitely check in Ronda, because there is sometimes local transportation that Rome2Rio.com doesn't know about.

Thanks for the feedback , I’ll check at the TI , if there is a bus ,and it’s not to complicated I’ll probably check it out . Tho I’ve been disappointed at times when a place hasn’t turned out to be what I expected .
There is a town similar in Portugal called Monsanto, that has great reviews . Seeing as how I’ll be there for a while I may look there . ....
Thank# again

Agreed with digbydog. Among the half a dozen pueblos blancos I drove through, Sentinil de las Bodegas was my least favorite. Grazalema was one of my favorites, ~1 hour by bus from Ronda according to rome2rio.

Thank you everyone for you advice !! I think I’ll take it and do Monsanto in Portugal instead . I’ve been to Grazalema and loved it ..maybe I’ll put Arcos on the list ...I hear it’s lovely :)
