Day trip to Mont Monserrat

We went the day after arriving from the US and really enjoyed it. It took a portion of the day to go but we were back to Barcelona by afternoon. With 5 days it is sometimes nice to take a trip out of the city. Always more to see and do than you have time for, so if it interests you take the trip. The trip itself is a change in scenery and fun to see monastery.

We did a half day tour. We aren't very religious so we mostly walked the paths and peeked in some of the buildings. I will say on a sunny day the scenery from the mountains is gorgeous and it's nice to get out of the city.
