Day Trip Ideas from Seville (maybe a nice beach?)

We will be in Sevilla April 5-11, visiting our son who is studying for the semester. We are thinking of renting a car for a day trip somewhere. Most of us (2 adults, a 25yo & a 21yo) like the idea of visiting a beach town to hang out, eat & drink and hopefully soak up a little sun. Any recommendations?

If not a beach...we're thinking maybe some of the white hill towns...

Are there winery tours we could drive to? Not a huge sherry fan, but would like to check it out if that's the only kind of wine in the area.

Thanks for any ideas or itinerary suggestions.

IMHO the best day trip from Seville is Cordoba and the Mezquita -- this is the most amazing thing we saw in our recent 2.5 weeks in mostly Andalucia. There are of course lots of other options including the beach. Here are some snapshots of our visit to Cordoba.

1 Cordoba and the Mezquita - I would do this by train.
2 Cadiz and neaby beaches - combine the two (beaches further south around Tarifa are very windy)
3 Guided tour into Donana Nature Reserve - http://www.donanareservas.com/visitas_en.php
4 Jerez & Arcos de la Frontera
5 Pueblos Blancos - This would be a very long day - about 290km.
From Seville head south to Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema for brief morning stops.
Up to Ronda for lunch, then return to Seville with late afternoon stop at Olvera.
