Dali Museum tickets

We are in Barcelona now and want to head to the Dali Museum but we are reading conflicting information. It looks like you can buy tickets ahead of time online but, many times are not availble. The website says that one can get tickets at the museum that ´¨are not available online¨¨. We don´t want to book a train ticket only to find out that we cannot get into the museum. Any advice?

You do not want to travel without having pre-booked a ticket. Period.

Also note this is the busiest time of the year for this museum, hence the reason you can't find many slots available.

You could book a "skip the line tour which would include transportation.

You could join "Friends of Dali" which includes entry - not sure if you can skip the line with this but it would get you directly into the "ticketed" line - family membership is Euro 50.

You cannot book tickets with a senior discount online. Maybe they mean the discounted tickets.

I'm also looking to get advance tickets but the museum website is weird. They only sell morning tickets and a 12:30-12:50 timed entrance. If we want to visit in the afternoon there are no advance tickets available. I can't believe that nobody goes there in the afternoon and buys advance tickets. We don't want to risk going up there and not getting in. Does anyone know what's up with the ticket times and why no afternoon options? Thanks!

We ended up calling the museum directly and they were extremely helpful. They offered a combination walking tour of the town - about 45 minutes along with a guided tour of the theatre/museum. Our train arrived only about ten minutes before the walking tour but it takes very little time by cab to get there. They were wonderful and helpful - you really benefit from a guided tour of the museum otherwise you miss so much. It was fantastic. Call them

Does anyone know if you have prepaid tickets whether they may let you in before the stated time? We're potentially looking at a train that gets us in about an hour before the 12:30 tickets that they offer online. Thx!

We were at the Dali museum a couple of weeks ago. We had tickets we had booked in advance for 11:00, but they let us in at 10:30.
