Dali House near Cadaques

Will spend one night in Cadaques next month, and we are looking to book tickets for the nearby Dali House. It looks like there is a guide in each room. Anyone know if the guides will speak any English? Thanks in advance!

Where does it say there is a guide in each room? I looked at the site and didn't see anything about guides. Maybe what it means is a placard describing the items in each room. I've seen that at many sights. There are usually placards in several languages.

This is a small house and can only be seen by a guided tour. There is one guide who’ll take you through the entire house plus porch.

I just was wondering about the language. There was no place to indicate that we are anglophones when we bought our tickets and we’re wondering if we will be doing a guided tour in Spanish, or if we will be able to go room to room on our own with the help of people in the rooms or English language signage. Or audio guide. We’ve got our tickets, so it isn’t a deal breaker. Just wondering if anyone has been there lately. I think many things have changed since Covid - tickets needing to be purchased in advance, for example.

Hi Joni
If anything, note that Catalan is the local language, not Spanish -albeit both are official languages, of course. In any case, it doesn't matter because Catalonia is, and has been, a hot spot for tourism for decades so tourist attractions offer their spaces and services in several languages. Aside from Catalan and Spanish, the Dali Museums offer their services, among others, in English, French and Chinese as far as I recall. English language signage is unlikely though.

Note that post-covid indeed some things -not related to language though- have changed: https://www.salvador-dali.org/media/upload/arxius/noticies/Welcome%20SpecifIc%20Measures%20Regarding%20tHe%20COVD-19.pdf

The guided tour I took was in English. It’s possible that the tour was in multiple languages which is not uncommon for tour guides. Tell your guide your preferred language and you’ll be fine. Cadaques is a very touristy place and English is widely spoken.
