I have been unsuccessful so far in trying to find out the bus schedule from Figures to Cadaques. We will be there approximately June 30th this year. It has been described as running 3-4 times per day, but I am only seeing it run to a nearby town, and then you need to get a taxi the rest of the way. We won't be renting a car. Are you able to get there from Barcelona via train ?

A handful of years ago we hiked the coastal area and had no trouble with buses. Looks like OK bus service for your needs via Sarfa with schedule information at http://tinyurl.com/j9gy22z Enjoy such a lovely area to explore.

See Enric's link with more extensive info on the bus. One note of warning, if you are planning on visiting Dali's House in nearby Port Illgat, you must have an advance reservation which can be made online. It is reportedly an easy walk from Cadaques.

Excellent point Douglas... Port Lligat does indeed require reserving in advance. Note it's a small place and the visits are somehow quite intimate.
