We were so disappointed with our recent experience at the Corral de la Morenia Flamengo Show. We understood this show to be one of the best. We chose to eat dinner at the show and book directly with the Corral de la Morenia as other flamengo shows we booked during our stay in Spain rewarded dinner reservations when booking directly with the show with better seating - not the case with the Corral de la Morenia. First of all the venue is terrible - there are very few good seats. Second of all it is expensive, very expensive for the value you receive. The dinner was excellent but it was twice the price one would pay in a restaurant for the same food - so if you decide to go - do not eat dinner there. I'm not a Flamengo expert which is why we saw four shows this trip as I wanted to gain more knowledge about this passionate and poetic art form. Every where we went folks touted the Corral de la Moreria as the best in Spain. This show did not move us. It is a very professional show but contained, polished - too polished. I wanted to share our experience as it's hard to understand what to expect. So - good food, good dancing, good music but in our opinion lacking in passion and hard to appreciate as to the poor venue. Don't splurge your travel entertainment dollars on this particular show but do see and learn about flamengo - it's truly lovely.
