Traveling from Cordoba to Valencia and would like to do it in a direct train without going through Madrid.
Any suggestions?

The Talgo will allow you to avoid Madrid, but the trip takes 2 to 3 hours longer than the AVE. The simplest Talgo route departs at 9:50 AM and arrives at 4:02 PM; no transfers required. Otherwise, you can leave at 10:42 AM and arrive at 4:22 PM after two transfers.

On most days, there's also a direct evening AVE train, departing Cordoba about 19:00 and taking 3h 10m; does not currently run on Saturdays.
