Staying one night. Going to Seville next day December 29
Minor question: What is more scenic the bus or the train?
What time should I leave Cordoba?

The bus takes about 2 hours. The train about 45 minutes. The really scenic part of Andalucia is the hills.

Make an early visit to the Mezquita.
Arrive in Sevilla in time for lunch.
AVE Trains at 11:45 & 12:45 take 47mins to reach SEVILLA-SANTA JUSTA from CORDOBA-CENTRAL.

The train for me, the AVE booked in advance is very reasonable as well.
