We will be in Cordoba a few days before the Patios festival starts this year. I would love to stop and see them (a few) but am having a hard time finding information on ones open outside of the festival times. I did run across a website for the San Basilio patios and they offer a tour during the time I will be there. I would prefer not to do a tour. Has anyone been able to visit the patios during non festival times?
There are lots of patios that are visible from the property gates. Some of the gates are open, not sure if its appropriate to step inside a bit, but we did. We had a lovely visit in Cordoba and were not there during the patio festival.
We took a patios tour but it isn’t necessary. There are signs and the ticket Booth will let you know where to go. They usually start in the early evening, around 5:00 i think.
I went into several attractive patios with no problem, I don't think any festival was on, this was October 2019. I think some of them had a small admission charge, or just a basket for donations. Others didn't.
We were just there in March. As we headed towards the patios area, there was a shop selling tickets. Someone in front was outside with information. We purchased a ticket that got us into five patios and were given a map that showed us where they were. We easily visited them on our own.
