Cooking Class in Seville Recommendations

Will be in Seville for a few days and thought it might be fun to do a cooking class. Has anyone done this in Seville and can recommend a place?

We took a class with Taller Andeluz de Cocina in October 2022.. It was at the market in Tirana, just over the bridge. We made gazpacho, sangria, and paella. It was fun and delicious.

We did the same one as Barbara in May 2023 and enjoyed it as well. It's a lot of fun.

Same one in December 2023. It was our 15 year old sons favorite thing about our trip, and now we have a new soup to make — Salmarejo!

We also participated in the same cooking class in 2017. While you’re in the Triana neighborhood, there’s a nice ceramic museum there with a nearby beautiful ceramic store.

We also had a great experience at Taller Andeluz de Cocina. My husband does not enjoy cooking, and even he enjoyed the class. He told his friends that given the choice, he would choose that as one of our activities.

The cooking class sounds so much fun! I
I think I am going to book these cooking classes with my family instead of a Flamenco dance show/class.
A couple of questions:
- I see on the website “… at the end guests eat what has been cooked, accompanied by up to two drinks”.
A little afraid my food doesn’t turn out good and I starve for dinner... Any near failure story to share? 😂
- If there’s a family member who isn’t into cooking due to physical conditions, do you know if they allow watching rather than participating?

Thanks in advance!

Myec, it’s group cooking in that class. You’re not each making individual servings. My husband & I were on the small team who made the cold soup, as an example. The instructor led the paella-making as he explained it, letting people do some small steps, but he had good control of the outcome of it.

Yes, someone could just observe if they really didn’t want to be hands-on.
