We are going to be spending 5 nights each in Madrid and Barcelona in April and are considering taking a cooking class in one of those places. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

When booking, do mention you want a course on Catalan cuisine -the local cuisine!-, because courses are also taught for other world cuisines. Courses are normally taught in Catalan, Spanish or English depending on the course. Some of them even take you, as part of the course, to the food market to get to know where and how many Catalans purchase their fresh food.
