We plan to stop at Comillas while driving in Northern Spain. I was wondering whether it is possible to view the outside/grounds of Gaudi's El Capricho and Palacio de Sobrellano without buying a ticket to go in. We don't have a lot of time for a long stop. Thanks for your help.

The visit to El Capricho is very quick, you can see the whole place in half hour, it´s very small. You can see both places from outside.

As you drive along the coast in that area, make sure you drive through San Vincente de la Barquera next door. It is a pretty sight as you cross the bay there, especially at low tide.
