Combarro restaurants and groceries

Hello we arrive tomorrow in Combarro to stay for 2 nights as we travel the Camino up to Santiago. I welcome any thoughts about places to eat especially anything open before 7PM. We are staying in an apartment with a full kitchen and may want to cook a meal. A suggestion for a grocery store and a place to buy fresh seafood would be appreciated.

You are in Spain, and that means that lunch (and not dinner!!!) is the most important meal of the day. Look for any restaurants with the "Menú del Día" option, homemade meals consisting of a first, a second, dessert, bread, water and wine, for very little money. Dinner before 7pm is not a common thing in Spain...and not before 9pm (dinner is quite irrelevant here, it´s lunch that really matters). Even if you are walking the Camino, you´ll find places offering the "Menú del Peregrino", pilgrim´s menu, mainly for lunch. Again, dinner is very unimportant, contrary to the US. But you are in Spain, of course...

Type supermercado into Google maps and they’ll show up. One that came up was Supermercados Froiz, but there may be one closer to wherever it is you’re staying.

I assume you actually meant Combarro rather than Combarros that is in a different part of the country, but still en route to Santiago.
