City Pass or similar for Barcelona rather than individual tickets for sites?

Is there a city pass rather than individual tickets for Barcelona's top sites?  We are also interested in the Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, Montserrat Monastery and museum and the Gaudí House Museum. We area going in October. Any other tips for this time of year?

Thanks,
Victoria

I found Barcelona’s admission passes do not offer admission to many—if any— of the top Modernista attractions.

I would add Palau de la Musica to your itinerary. It’s a stunning concert hall built by Barcelona’s other renowned architect— Lluis Domenech i Montaner. You can see the interior by buying tickets to a one of the evening Flamenco or other concerts held there. Also, there are guided tours offered.

If you don't have the time for a tour or concert at Palau de la Musica, at least walk by, see the exterior and go inside to see the lobby. Gorgeous!

We have been to Barcelona twice now and both times we walked a lot of the time or just used the subway for short trips, so we didn't buy a city pass. We booked admission to sites separately.

Find a hotel with a rooftop bar. October is the month for enjoying an aperol spritz watching the sun set.

Depending on where you are staying it may be a good idea to purchase a T-casual card at one of the Metro stops--we purchased a 10 trip card and used it on the metro, bus, and even the Rodales R2 train from the Sants rail station to the Prat airport!

We looked at the Barcelona card and it really didn't offer much for the price. as far as getting tickets for the various sites like Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, etc. it's best to go to the actual genuine real venue sites and get tickets directly from them. They probably won't be selling tickets for October yet, some sites start opening up their dates 2-3 months in advance. Not sure how busy things will be in October, but for May and June the tickets seemed to sell out a week or two in advance.
