Hi All,
I'll be in Spain from Nov 18th to the 26th. Will there be Christmas lights in cities or is that a little bit too early in the season?
Thanks!
Peter

Is that a Spanish custom? You might want to look into feast days and festivals that might be of interest. The processions are often in the evenings lit by huge candles.
You don't mention what cities you will be in either. Please clarify.
Thanks for responding. I was just referring to general Christmas decorations. I was in Spain a couple of years ago in December, and every cities (Madrid/Barcelona/Toledo/Granada/Seville) I went to had elaborate Christmas lights.
In Barcelona, the Christmas decorations officially start around the fourth week of November, but the exact date varies every year. We've had as early as the 21st: http://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/comerc/ca/destacats/els-llums-de-nadal-illuminen-els-carrers-de-barcelona , and as late as the 27th: http://eldigital.barcelona.cat/en/the-christmas-lights-will-be-lit-up-on-27-november_250819.html
