I was wondering if anybody could confirm that the Mercado San Miguel is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? The DevourMadrid food blog, which I've had good experience with, implies that it is and there's nothing (that I can find) on their own website to contradict that, but I'd feel better if I could confirm that independently. It looks like I'll be in Madrid by myself on Christmas and going there sounds much more entertaining than cobbling together dinner in my hotel room!
