Christmas Eve/Day in Spain

We are a couple planning to visit Spain around Christmastime. Based on our experience in Italy for Christmas 2014, we anticipate that it might be tough to find restaurants (or even grocery stores) that are open on December 24 and 25.

We haven't finalized our particular destinations, but we are considering Granada, Ronda, Arcos, and Sevilla for those dates. (We're also considering Lisbon or Porto in Portugal, although they don't fit our overall plan as well.) Does anyone know if any of these cities are more or less likely to have businesses open on the holidays?

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with this situation in Spain.

Spain , as does many of the Europe countries because of the traditional influence of the C church, shuts down for Christmas. I would vote for Sevilla. By noon on Christmas eve have enough food, wine, etc., laid in to get through Christmas day. Our hotel in Sevilla had a great roof top patio where we had a number of meals. We did notice that a couple of hotel restaurants were open but packed with tourists. We made no attempt to try those restaurants. Nearly the same thing happens over New Years. But in the US you will see few restaurants or business open on Christmas day. And in Britain you have Boxing day after Christmas day when almost nothing is opening.
