I wonder if anyone can recommend a charming/historic hotel for under $250 in Cordoba? La Llave del la J, El Patio de la Costurera and hotel Mezquita are all full for my date (may 18). Thank you!
It may not offer all the luxuries and amenities sought by those willing to pay $250, but you may want to look into La Piquera Hotel. If it's the same as it was when I stayed there in 2019 (when it was known as Al Azahar) -- and judging from some recent photos I've seen, it may still be -- you'll find it to be a small, quaint, charming hotel, located just across the street from the south-east corner of the Mosque. A great location by some standards, though not if you're looking for a quiet neighborhood.
I just stayed at the NH Collection Amistad Córdoba. Full amenities, close to Mezquita. May not fit your definition of "charming" or "historic" - contemporary decor. Not sure what I paid - offseason price, booked well in advance. I would stay again.
I was going to recommend the Parador (not historic), but it too is booked for the 18th.
We stayed at Las Casas de la Juderia de Cordoba. It's boutique hotel. Really nice. Great Location. Just around the block from the Mesquita. They might have some rooms in your price range.
Thank you everyone! Even though La Llave del la Judeca was fully booked online, when I wrote to them they found me a room! Hooray.
