Changing ticket holder for AVE train (Renfe)

With the recent uptick of COVID cases in Spain, today, I had to cancel my trip planned for August. I purchased BASIC train tickets for my family that, unfortunately, cannot be changed or canceled. My only option is to change the ticket holder, if I can find people interested in my specific tickets:

Barcelona-Seville: Aug 12
Seville-Madrid: Aug 14
Madrid-Barcelona: Aug 17

Does anyone have any experience with finding people who can take train tickets that won’t be used?

We are probably screwed. Can you send e-mail to Renfe and see if they make an exception? I bought train tickets for October.

You can request a refund through renfe.com. If you bought tickets that were not the cheapest tickets, you might get a partial refund right away. Otherwise the website will immediately deny giving a refund. I guess you could still try sending e-mail and see what happens, if denied a refund.
