Catalonia’s Parliament Vote to Split from Spain

I wonder how this will impact travel to Spain. With all transportation being run by the central government in Spain, will they act in a show of force by restricting access to transportation? I wonder what Rick’s view of the situation is.

Living in Israel, I get those State Dept. security updates every time something happens. They all sound like CYA messages. I'll start taking them to heart when they start evacuating families of their staff.

I'm not a pundit or a seer, but if I had a trip planned, I'd go without hesitation. I would however avoid talking politics with any of the locals. The reports I've heard indicate that it's a taboo subject among themselves these days, due to polarization.
