If I am going from Gibralfaro to Alcazba WALKING, what is the best way--most direct?
Then to go from the Alcazba to the Cathedral, how to?
Please give specific directions. Thank you

Google Maps will give suggested walking routes, but you never know about things like torn-up sidewalks.

It recommends taking Bus 35 up to the castle rather than a very steep walk. Day 1 includes the cathedral, the Alcazaba, the castle and much more. I found watching "Battle Castle" Episode 6 about Castillo Gibralfaro made my visit much more interesting.
