My friend and I will be flying into Barcelona for a three day stay. Would you recommend a private car service or a taxi to get from the airport to our hotel in the Gracia area of Barcelona?

We used a private transport service to and from the airport every time we've been in Barcelona. We booked it with viator.com. It was easy and affordable. I'm sure others will have suggestions, but we've been happy with the service we got.
Unless you have inordinate amounts of luggage you will find a taxi just fine.
25-30 euros and 30 mins approx - depending on the time of day.
