Has anyone given themselves a jet-lag treat and just booked a car service from the Madrid airport to Toledo? I see a few options online but would always rather go with a recommendation, and find that fellow Rick Steves travellers steer me in the right direction. I know the train from the airport to Atocha isn't that bad, and the train from Atocha to Toledo is fast....but we're getting older and more tired and thought this might be worth the splurge. Thanks!

Yes! Airport transfers (to and from) are a stressor for me, so unless it is brainless, I always book a private transfer service.
We have twice used Suntransfers (suntransfers.com) for this exact route and have used them multiple other times in Spain as well. They are reliable, economical, and easy.

Thanks for this thread. We are going in the opposite direction - Toledo to the Madrid airport end of October. Going to book this week. We too are getting older and really appreciate the ease of a private transfer after 3 weeks of touring.

We’ve used suntransfers. Highly recommend them.
