Hi
Traveling with my wife and daughter to Spain end of May. I thought I had planned well but my wife and daughter decided to visit Tossa in Costa Brava. Now, I am traveling traveling from Madrid (4 days) to Costa Brava (3 days) and Barcelona (4 days) for our first leg of European tour. Also, I realize that I save 6 hours of travel time from Seville to Barcelona if traveling by train.
By altering my plan, will I regret not visiting Seville by bowing down to accommodate whims and wishes of my wife and daughter?
The two regions are different. You will miss out on a southern atmosphere and Moorish architecture that you were planning on and will get a smaller-town, beachier experience, but still beautiful and enjoyable, still different from Madrid and Barcelona.
Won't your wife and daughter make you regret not accommodating their wishes?
Seriously, don't travel with a mindset of regretting where you won't be going and make the most of where you are going.
We're spending three nights in Tossa de Mar in July. Staying at the Hotel Capri, per a recommendation on this board. We're very much looking forward to being there.
Who says you have to travel with them ??
You might. But you might regret missing tge coast if you skip it. There is never enough time to go everywhere so it's all a matter of picking your priorities. I would skip costa brava for seville, others prefer the other way.
Compromise ...
