Can I get off my train at an earlier stop?

Hi,
I bought two train tickets with Iryo from Barcelona to Seville and now would like to change my trip to include Cordoba. The cancellation fee 20% of the tickets. I could only change date, time or seats, but I can't change the destination.
May I simply get off the train earlier and not complete the entire trip? I have never been to Spain and would like to know if it is possible.
There are only two Iryo trains a day from Barcelona to Seville and Cordoba, I am 95% certain they are the same train, and it will stop at Cordoba on the way to Seville.
I think this would be the best way than cancelling the tickets.

Thank you in advance, this will help a lot!

Yes, no problem, just get off at Cordoba if you are certain the train that you are on stops there.

Haha not intentionally to save $. Although it will be cheaper (and easier) now that I bought the tickets and making a change to the trip

Hey, sometimes someone just has to get off a train. The conductor can’t force you to remain onboard, and it’s not as if they’re going to keep the train from heading for Seville until you get back on at the Cordoba station.

For context, my original Iryo train is Barcelona -> Seville, April 17, 9:50 - 15:37
I can find Barcelona -> Cordoba, April 17, 9:50 - 14:41
and Cordoba -> Seville April 17, 14:43 - 15:37

It is Iryo and they only have 2 trains a day from Barcelona -> Seville, can I assume this is the same train, and it will stop at Cordoba at:41?

Yes. That's what the train is scheduled to do. It may not be exactly on time, of course.

A bit puzzled by that question.... why couldn't you? If the train stops in Cordoba and you want to get off there.... get off there. There's no reason why you can't :)

It's a valid question, because in some countries you can't. Britain comes to mind.

Hi Enric,
I take your reaction as yes then? Never been to Spain, and just want to make sure I am not breaking any rules.
