Caixa machine for Alhambra tickets in Andalucia

I have seen recent web posts claiming that one is no longer able to print advance purchase tickets outside Granada. We were hoping to retrieve ours in Seville or Ronda. Anyone have recent experience trying similarly? Or any recent changes picking up in Granada that we should be aware of? Thanks!

In October, we could not print our tickets in Malaga. Doing so in Alhambra on the day behind the bookstore at the main entrance was a breeze though. I was worried because the credit card used to buy the tickets online had expired in the meantime but there was no problem.

We arrived in Granada today and after checking in with our apartment, went to collect our repurchased tickets. After being directed by the as apartment manager, to the La Cauix machines on Calls Colon (wrong!) And being directed to another machine several blocks further from there (wrong), asking a taxi driver if he knew where to pick tickets up ( no, he did not), went to bookstore noted in RS guidebook. She directed us vaguely to "go around the corner" and we would see place to pick them up. No, we didn't!! Several more attempts, went back to bookstore for more explicit directions. FINALLY, very frustrated, we located the place!!! It is off Calls Reyes Catalicas (bookstore is Calle Reyes Catalicas ,40.....just past store) is a bazaar like store called Corral De Carbon, pickup place is next to that in an arched area in the back. Quite complicated to find, but worth it! Friendly, helpful attendant, had tickets in minutes. She said this was all a new way to pick up or to purchase tickets as of last week!! (The 5 people right in front of us were purchasing tickets for tomorrow...no prepurchase) She also said that many days last week the line wait was an hour or more!! We were in line about 10 minutes on Sunday (today) at about 5pm. Place closes at 7pm, think it opens at 10am, but not sure of that. Can't think why Alhambra tickets are so very difficult to deal with??? Why can''t they be printed on line like every other ticket that we have ever purchased in advance? Unnecessarily frustrating, as far as I can tell.

we picked up our tickets on april 13 at the row of ticket machines behind the gift shop at the main entrance (next to the parking lots). unless it's really changed, there is no need to pick them up in advance! the bookstore refered to in another post is in the center of town, perhaps that part has changed? i can't imagine that you can't pick them up at the box office anymore.

Yes, I believe you can still pick up tickets at the bookstore at the Alhambra entrance. However if your entrance time is early, say 9am, that makes for a very fast run to get to the Madrid Palace by your entrance time, since the bookstore does not open until 8:30. Most people I know prefer to obtain tickets in advance, if possible. And it is, IF you know where to pick them up now!!!
