Looking at late April tour 2018. Appreciate input on better place to stay along with any good 2/3 star hotel recommendations. Thanks as always

We saw Cadaques on one of the RS episodes and that is why we decided to stay there when we go in October. We have never been to Spain but Cadaques looks like a perfect place to decompress and get over jet lag. We have Hotel Playa Sol booked.
I have not read anything about Roses.

Roses will be more convenient to get to and from. Cadaques will be more scenic but is an hour's drive over the mountain and back. I'd pick Cadaques if possible, but you'll need to look at your itinerary to see if the timing will work.
